Intended to be an expansion of Part I and using a more interactive approach, this workshop delves deeper into school-based practice assessments and treatment interventions as well as the role school-based OT and PT practitioners play in the IEP team in terms of assessments, goals, interventions, and supports. In groups, participants will have opportunities to critique an existing assessment template and develop a customizable template to serve the needs of individual districts or settings. Please come prepared with at least three treatment ideas, one of which must be for students with more complex needs. By the end of the workshop, participants will walk out with a compiled list of suggested intervention.
