RC SELPA Conference Room - 2935 Indian Ave., Perris, CA 92571
During this two-day training, school psychologists will get an opportunity to delve into the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) model for SLD identification. Participants will learn practical strategies to build assessment batteries that supports the variety of students within the district. We will also get into the XBASS software program and see how this system supports the analysis of data when it is unclear whether the student possesses a pattern of strengths and weaknesses. Case study students will be reviewed and hands-on practice with the program will be provided. All participants are encouraged to bring a laptop with the XBASS software program already downloaded to fully participate in the two-day training. This software program only runs using Excel; other programs such as Numbers or Google Sheets will not support the program.
